Check the security settings in Word. Instructions may be
a little different on Office 2000 (I am using XP) but
probably close enough to figure it out.
Tools->Options menu
-Security- tab
Macro Security button at bottom (on XP anyway)
change security from "High" to "Medium"
restart Word and try your document
