Mail default Format vs Signature Format

Hey Guys,
One of my user has Outlook 2002 and is having problems with his
signature line format. He sets his signature to single space format
and saves it fine. But When he send a message, since his default "line
format" for sending email with the Word as the mail editor is below
6pt, his Signature is not single spaced anymore and has the 6pt line
space.

I have no idea how to fix this if he is to keep using word as a email
editor...

Any suggestion is appreciated,
