Mail Issue

I can not send an email from my POP account - I have a exchange mailbox
setup in Outlook, even if I remove the exchange account...

Why is this happening?
What must I do to fix it?

Maybe your IT admin has blocked POP access? Have you asked?

My IT admin said I should be able to send and receive email through the POP
account but Outlook is still unable to send a mail...

What happens when you click on the "Test Account settings" button?
