mail merge address validation

I am looking for an add-in for doing address validation when I do a mail
merge in Word 2003. When I try to get it to 'Validate' the address the
program says that I need to install an add-in. Does anyone know where I can
get one for free?

There should also be additional text in the message that states
something like "Do you want to go to our web site and find out more
about validation add-ins?". Did you do this?
