We are developing a set of letters for our clients to use to integrate with a
database that our software produces in access. We will send them the letters
with a generic mail merge already created in the document, but it won't have
the exact path of the database on their computer.
For instance, one customer may have the database located in C:\access and
another may have the database located in C:\my data.
I am wondering if there is a way that we can edit something (preferably
through notepad or the like) on their computer to make it to where we can
change this directory structure of the word document once its local on their
computer?
