Mail Merge - error message

Hi,

I am trying to use Mail Merge with an Excel spreadsheet containing names and
addresses. When I select my file, I get the message "Word was unable to open
the datasource". I don't know what I've done wrong as the data is on an
Excel spreadsheet in a layout I've used before. Can anybody please help.

In Excel go to Tools/Options/General and make sure "Ignore other
applications" is not enabled.
