Mail merge issue - macros in excel file

Hi,

I'm trying to use mail merge in Word 2007 to place the address block at the
top of some letters. However, I'm having issues because the Excel 2007 file
I'm pulling the info from contains a lot of macros connecting the cells to
other documents. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Can you expand on the issues you are encountering? The more details the
better. :)

Well, for example, I want the name of an endowment fund to appear with the
address block, but when I choose that field and preview it with mail merge,
it comes out like this:

"«Alfieri_Jeff_Endowment_for_Italian_Stud»"

when in the excel file, it appears like this:

"Alfieri, Jeff Endowment for Italian Studies"

The same issue arises with names and department names.
