Mail Merge Labels Labels with Word XP (Graham Mayor)

Graham, I went to your website and followed your directions fo Mail merge
labels with Word XP.

http://www.gmayor.com/mail_merge_labels_with_word_xp.htm

After setting up the labels, I needed to "choose data source" and opted for
your section on "other data sources", in particular the Outlook Address
Book. First there was a security warning to which I answered OK. Then
there was an error message which said:

A required file, schmapi.dl could not be loaded. Please check your email
installation and rinstall MS Word if necessary.

Could you tell me what to do at this point? Thank you.

Try starting the merge from Outlook as you did with the catalog merge

Hope this helps

The web page was written with Word 2002 in mind, with Word 2003 there is the
additional complication that you have noted. I have already written a minor
amendment to update the page, but my web host is making some major hardware
changes at the moment and I have not been able to post any update for a
couple of weeks. I am assured that it will be corrected this week - but
there again they said that last week :(

Working with Outlook data, as Doug pointed out, you should start from
Outlook and there will not be a problem.
