Mail merge - labels

I am using MS Office 2003 and trying to mail merge addresses into labels.

I have created a data file and the requested fields.

When I merge the data file with the main document, I get an extra blank line
after the first line of the address. What am I doing wrong?

You have a carriage return in the field? You padded out too many spaces
and it wrapped? Give a careful look at what you set up.

Thanks Bob. I have checked and I did not have any carriage returns or
spaces between the fields. I might try to insert individual fields instead
of the more practical "address block".

Can't say that I've used the address block "feature", I just use the
data field names.
