mail merge & outlook contacts

I used the mail merge wizard to write my letter. I choose
the outlook contacts for my data source. Everything
worked fine. I closed the document. When I re-opened the
document, I was asked to select data source. My data
source folder does not have the outlook contacts.

The screen says: Select data source -connect to new data
