Mail merge to e-mail - body and attachment

Dan

Office 2003 Word allows mail merge to e-mail - but the word file can be the
body of the message OR an attachment.

How do I create a mail merge to e-mail, with a message body AND an attached
file? The message body contains a paragraph or two, explaining the contents
of the attachment. I'd like the body customized (e.g. mail merge fields).
The attached file is the same for all.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Dan,

You may want to also post this to the Word Mailmerge newsgroup using the link below.

Note that if you're sending out an HTML email and the recipient has set their email to be in plain text only (depending on the
software they use to read email) that the body document may also be converted on the receiving end to be an attachment).
