Mail Merge Troubleshooting

My "Insert Merge Field" button no longer brings a drop-down box in Office
2000. I can't insert any fields in my document.

Try going into Tools, Customize and draff the Insert Merge Field off of the
toolbar and then add it back on. We had the similar situation using Word
2003 mail merge and this worked fine to correct. it. In our situation, it
also helped to save the old Word 2000 letter and data source in the 2003
version.
