Mail Merge via command button

There are many documents that exist in MS Word and would be great to use
access to automate them. But i don't want to give the users permission to
all the menu items and it would be kind of confusing to some of them. Is it
possible to start a mail merge using filtered data using a command button
click. It would simplify things greatly for the users.
