I have set up a database using access and I have created a letter and
named it a .dot document so as to make it a template. Everytime I open
this document I have to assign the database to it.
With word 2002 this is not the case once you have attached it once and
saved it everytime you open the document it opens the template as a new
document with the database already attached.
I have tried recreating both the document and database but this makes
no difference.
Would be greatful for any help.
