mail not readable

Hello,

I have the following problem.
Since I've upgraded to Windows XP some mails(not al) I receive are
unreadable. Sometimes there are chinese characters displayed in the mail.
At first I was using outlook express. I thought it was an encoding problem
so I changed the encoding format, but the problem remained. I"ve ran Windows
update also.
Last week I changedto outlook, but the problem stays the same.
Most of the mails who have the problem are from 3 different senders.
Does anyone know what solves this problem?
Before the upgrade everything worked fine.
