Mail notification sound with hotmail account

I am using outlook 2003 with windows xp sp2. When mail arrives for my regular
account I get a mail notification sound. I have my hotmail downloading into
the outlook 2003 program, however it fails to give the notification sound. I
didn't have this problem in Outlook Express. Can someone help?

Outlook only has notification for items that are delivered into the main
inbox.
