Sometimes people send me messages and request read receipts. Even though I
have Do Not Respond checked in Tools, Outlook 2003 tries to send the
receipt. Since the message it accompanied was addressed to an email address
of mine which my DSL carrier cannot access, the recept request does not get
sent and eventually Outlook crashes. How can I delete the receipt it is
trying to send? It does not show up in Outlook as an Outgoing message, but I
know it is there because Outlook says it is trying to send a message each
time I click Send Receive.
