Mail sent multiple times

I have created an email in Outlook with an 800k attachment. Although I've
sent it, it does not disappear from my out box. The recepients have received
it 22 times. Any suggestions to what the problem migt be?

The problem appears to be a send/receive interval set too low and/or a
server timeout value set too low.

Do you have any anti-virus software scanning your outgoing mail? These
programs seem to be linked to this problem. If you do, turn off the
message-scanning options - if you have Norton, that apparently requires
that you uninstall Norton, then reinstall without the options.

Could you post back with your results? I'm trying to determine if this
really is the problem with these cases.
