"Mail Services" tab missing from Outlook 2000

I am attempting to set up outlook 2000 to "prompt for a profile to be used"
when outlook starts.

In the help section it says "On the Tools menu, click Options, and then
click the Mail Services tab."

The problem is that there is no mail services tab!

I have also tried to access this otion through the path of "Start, setting,
control panel, mail" but when I double click on the mail icon there is only a
"mail" tab which shows the profiles and thier properties, but no other
options or tabs.

Thanks for any guidence or direction you can offer!

Sounds like you might have Outlook 2000 configured in Internet Mail Only
mode (e.g. You have a Tools | Accounts instead of Tools | Services). You
need to switch modes. Here is more information on the "modes" of Outlook
