mail stuck in oubox

Ok I read up on knowledge base but dont think it relates
directly to my problem w/ mail getting stuck in outbox.
Mail is making it out(sent numerous tests and received on
many differnt accounts) However mail just stays in the
outbox as if it wasnt sent. Any ideas
