mail stuck in outbox

I compose emails and they pile up in outbox but won't send, I have to delete
them eventually. Checked smtp and other settings, seems ok. Can receive no
problem running xp sp2

When you view the send/receive progress, is there any error? Have you checked
your application event viewer for any Outlook or Office-related errors?

Hi Kathleen

Sometimes it just hans at "preparing to send and receive", or "sending 1 of
1". When I test the settings in the email axccount they all work, outlook 2003
