Mail will not send from outbox but will if I double click on message in another folder and hit send

Hi

I have mail merged a xmas card and have generated several hundred e-mails.

These where automatically sent to outlook and then sent.

I now have a situation that outlook will not send e-mails in my outbox, but
will send the e-mail if I move it to another folder and then open it and
then click send.

Thoughts please

Update the messages in outbox also are not italic
