Mailing newsletters (help requested)

hello to all

I have been asked to send out quarterly newletters to the members (about
200) of my daughter's skating club. I am a complete newbie at this, and
would be very grateful if some kind soul could walk me through the basic
steps. For personal use, I currently just use hotmail - I have Microsoft
Outlook, but haven't had need to use it yet (until now).

Because of privacy concerns, I don't really want to show lists of e-mail
addresses in the TO: or the CC: field, and I'm afraid that using BCC: might
cause lots of the mail to be neglected by the recipients. Ideally, I'd like
to send individual e-mails to all of the members on my XL list.

If someone could take the time to spell this out to me, I'd be really
appreciative.

You'll need to use a mail merge for this. For step-by-step instructions see;
http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/mailmerge.htm

Using a Hotmail account probably is not a good idea since there are daily
sending limits on Hotmail accounts. Your ISP might offer you an accounts
with more flexible sending limits which you can use or they can upgrade your
mail account for this for a small premium.

Thanks Roady! I'll study the info in your reference. I am totally new at
this and appreciate any help I get.
