mails are connecting to hotmail and not outlook, why?

couple of days ago, i was checking all the options in tools. Accidently i
clicked something which had an option hotmail.
And now, i am able to send files from outlook. If i want to send a file
directly from desktop Eg. Excel file> right click > send to > mail recepient,
its connecting to hotmail and not outlook.
How to avoid it?

The only thing I can think of is to make Outlook your default mail
client system.
