mails do not reach particular user when sent from contacts list

HI ,
I'm using outlook 2007, mails to a particular are not reaching the user when
i add the user in To list from the contacts list. but mails reach the user
when i reply or type in the complete id manually. please help me in solving
this problem.

Could the email address that you have stored within the contact be wrong or
pointing to another address of your contact?

Hi,
Thanks for looking into my problem..
even i thought that it could be happening because it's pointing to some
other address.. so deleted the entry from the contacts and freshly entered
the contact and sent the mails 1st 2-3 mails go but again the same problem
occurs the recipient does not receive the mails.. and both the users are in
same domain and local intranet, i have windows vista home premium as the OS.
