Mails going to Sent Items

I'm using Outlook 2002 and when I open a mail to read and then close it the
mail automatically goes to my Sent Items folder. How do I disable this so the
mails stay in the Inbox?

You're just opening the mail? Not replying to it? This sounds very
bizarre...do you have any rules running?

No there are no rules set up and yes I'm just opening the mail to read. And
as Ive said when I close it it automatically goes to the Sent Items folder.
Odd.

That is very bizarre. Try setting up another mail profile using the same PST
and see if you have the same problem.
