Mails opening behind main Outlook window

Hi,

I hvae previously posted this in another Outlook NG, but I didn't get any
solutions that worked.

I have Office 2003. I use Outlook to access my GMail account. Whenever I
open an email, new or read, it opens then pops behind the main Outlook
screen in a split second. Any ideas why? Do I need to re-install Office?
Or am I just missing a setting?
