Main Menu Problem

Can't see the main menu when I click on that office circle in the upper left
hand corner. BTW, I see a lot of questions are being answered here. What's
the point of these newsgroups again?

unfortunately, there are "stupid questions".

one might ask you what was the point for you
with searching for this newsgroup, creating a
login then creating a subthread?

Actually, the Microsoft support told me to come here. And JoAnn, nothing
happens. Only thing that pops up is that help popup that tells you what the
main menu button does. And this is in every Office program. We are running
Enterprise version. None of the other 350 machines do this at all. I tried
reinstalling, etc. I could probably do a format and reinstall and it would
probably fix it. But my fellow employee has been extremely patient. I've
probably spent a day on it, I just don't get it.

No clue - but I would suggest flattening the system. You've already wasted a
day, which is too long for a business system to be down. That is, of course,
from the end user's point of view.

We aren't reading the problem the same way. I'm reading this as the OP
already running the program and when he/she clicks on the Office button,
nothing's there. You seem to think they can't run Word at all.

Well OP - you need to give us more info.
