What is the black shadow behind the main window? Is it possible to change it's color?

I'm pretty sure the color of the shadow is based on your Windows Desktop settings. I suspect if you change those colors, you'll find the one which affects the slide shadow. (I poked around a little here, but I didn't see anything that seemed obvious to me for the shadow setting.)

It's not possible to remove that shadow.
