Major help is needed

Hi!
I had a problem last week where I had executed something out of sync,
and I had to delete the project file from the server, and republish it.
I made an entirely different file with the same information, and
published. Now, I am the only one who can see anything on the web with
that file. The server was reset. And, I also made sure everyones
permissions and groups were right, now I get errors saying the manage
cannot create resource account for two items. I keep running into this
problem. What is it that i have to do here? Any help is greatly
appreciated.

Okay. I went on the web, under Admin to Clean up the Project Server
Database. I deleted the file. That went fine. Reset the server (we
are new at this, so only one file so far, not that big as of yet).
Since changes needed to made on the database, I made the changes.
Then, I republished the file under a new name. I then logged onto the
PWA. I thought all was fine because I could see the file, and no
errors showed. However, although every one on the project can log onto
the PWA, they cannot see the file I publshed. Nor did anyone receive
an email.

Now you are losing me, my friend.

"Reset the server." How did you reset the server?

"Since changes needed to be made on the database, I made the changes." What
changes did you make and how?

"I republished the file under a new name." Did you recreate the file from
scratch while logged into Projct Server? Or did you import the .mpp project
file (assuming you had one) using Tools - Enterprise Options - Import
Project to Enterprise? Or did you simply open an .mpp file and publish it
(a huge no-no)?

I realize you are very new to Project Server, but you are making all kinds
of changes to your system and you are not telling us what you did. Please
give us a more complete description of what you did and how you did it, and
we will try and help you. Let us know.

Hey, sorry in the dely of response. I think I found the problem. A
while back a couple of test files were created and few of them were
named exactly like the one I am having a problem with.

Reset server? good question. :) (can't answer that one.)
I made a new file from scratch with the changes (rewording, relocating
tasks in the outline, etc). And, to make sure I wouldn't run into a
problem publishing the new file, I unknowingly named that file the same
as one of our test files (which was in the recycle bin).

And, I apologize in my crude descriptions. I have been so engulfed in
this....... :)

I am in the process of cleaning up our recyle bins to make sure that
this does not happen again. (Hopefully, I made sense this time).
