I have a file called Presentation 1. I linked another file "Presentation 2"
to the first "Presintaion 1".

Can I make custom show from Presentation 1 and the linked file "Presentation
2"?

ok.
I want to make a custom show and choose slides from other presentations
without inserting them to the main presentation "Presentation 1". Is it
possible?

The reason is: slides in other presentations has page set up as "On-screen
Show", while in "presentation 1" the slides were set up as "banners"; i.e.
small slides.

If I insert slides in the presentation1, all the inserted slides will take
the same set up - "banners'
so what should I do?

Hi,
Open Power-point to create a new show.
Set the page setup to "On-screen -show".
Insert the complete Presentation1
Click insert<slides from files, browse for the other shows
and in the slidefinder don't click
"Insert all" but choose your slides from the Preview pane to insert them.
When you have all the slides in the Presentation you can fit them to the
screen. Open the slide, click on it and drag it with the mouse from the
corners
to the wanted size. Make shure that in the format menu <Picture<size tap
the "lock aspect ratio" checkbox is checked.

Hi,
To fit the pictures to the screen, select the first picture and click on it.
This will put eight little squares around the edges.
Point with the mouse-pointer on a corner square and it will change to a
double side arrow.
Drag it towards the corner of the frame and do so with all four corners
until the picture fills the frame.
Click FORMAT
Picture
In the Picture-format dialog box click the size tap.
Under “scaleâ€, check the “Lock the aspect ratio†checkbox.
(This will keep the proportion of the Height and Width of the picture.)
Repeat this for all slides.
If, due to the ratio of the picture, some clear space is left at the top and
the bottom you can fill it with a matching dark color.
Either separately for each frame or the same color for the entire
presentation.
Format
Background
Choose color and click Apply for a single slide or “apply to all†for the
show.
