Make grahpic visible in normal or view mode

When I insert a graphic from a file or the clipboard into Word 2003, only the
frame shows on my computer. If I do print preview the graphic is there.
How can I make the graphic show on my computer screen.

On the View tab of Tools | Options, clear the check box for "Picture
placeholders."
