mAKE mde

I created a database in Access97 and used the AccessXP upsizing wizard to
upsize to Access2k. It was a relatavely small database and the conversion
went smoothly. However, the 'Make MDE' option on the 'Database Utilities'
sub menu of the 'Tools' menu is disabled. The help told me that I had to
pasword-protect the modules in order for MakeMDE to be available. I did, but
it's still unavailable. Is there any suggestion as to what else might be
preventing this task?

Jon,

The option to create mde is only available if your database is in 2002
format.
