Hi,
After I accept the updates from my resources in PWA, and Project 2003 starts
and opens the projects, Project asks whether it should save the project. If I
save the project, then automatically my resources are notified of the new
assigments, however I did not clicked on Publish new assignments, only just
save. Is there a way to disable this notification, and make project only send
out emails to the resources when the PM clicks on Publish new and changed
assigments?
This is especially annoying in administrative projects, where it does not
make much sense to send out every week on which task is somebidy assigned. On
the collaboration options in the "On every save, publish the following
information to Project Server" both checkboxes ("New and changed assigmnets"
and "Project Summary") are cleared.
Or is there a way to disable the notifications only for a given project?
