Make Table Query

when I build a query to make a table I get an error message in the status bar
that says 'the action or event has been blocked by disabled mode'. How can I
enable the action/event mode in Access. Hope someone out there has knowledge
of this.

Are you using Access2007? If so have you set up your trusted area??

Well, I'm not the one with the problem ... but your suggestion is precisely
what is suggested in pretty much all of those google search results
