Make Trusted Site?

K

Kay

I am wanted to publish my project to the Project Server,
and I get the message that I have to make the link a
Trusted Site.

I add the site to IE in both Trusted Site and Intranet
Sites, but I am still unable to view the project in
Collaborate-Project Center.

Tasks do not show up when I log on as a resource, but the
project is listed when I log on as Administrator.

How do I make the Project Server site trusted?

Thanks for the assistance.

Hi Kay,

First, after you added your project server as a trusted
site via IE, did you still receive that message? If not
then it is trusted.

Next, if your project appears in the projects list via the
web access, but you can't see the tasks, then that means
something went wrong in the publish operation. It could
be that the "viewdrop" directory has old XML files in it.
Take a look at the ViewDrop Directory. It is typically at
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Project Server\Bin\ViewDrop

Finally, a user may see his/her tasks only if he has
permission and is a memeber of a category that the project
belongs to.

I hope this helps to get you started.
