It is pretty simple to do, but the tutorial would be based on what graphics program you use

You just create your banner in a graphics program based on your page layout

For example the site you referred to contains 3 graphics (gif files) in the banner area

You could do the same thing or just create 1 graphic

If you want the graphic to blend to your background you can either make your background / bottom layer the same as the background on the web page (body, table, celll) and save it as a jpeg or make a transparent gif

Either way you would probably need to refer to your graphics program for assistance in creating the layers, sizing, transparent gif, etc.

Hope it helps

looks 'really good' if you know what I mean - it always looks rastery :) or
it is vectory ?? lOL

anyway, I love my background magic .. just wish I could make a top border as
well that would have rounded corners

Pam,

Just keep trying new things, the page you referred really isn't doing anything to complex, but I agree it looks nice.

I don't use Corel, but you may try drawing two objects, a horizontal and a circle, overlap the horizontal bar with the circle and you now have a rounded corner. :))

Good Luck with it.

not hte paper underneath? any ideas?? I've tried going to the corel
