Making a Graph stay fixed

Is there a way to make a graph in Excel "float" on top of the sheet that it
is in, so that I can scroll across the data, and still see all of the graph.

How about an easy alternative?

Create another window (window|New Window)
then arrange them so that you can see the things you want to see
(Window|arrange|horizontal or vertical).

You'll see book1.xls:1 and book1.xls:2 in the window title bar. When you're
done and want to go back to "normal", you can select the window you want to
close and hit ctrl-w.

You can put it in the frozen part of the sheet when using Window - Freeze
Panes.

Try right click/format chart area/don't move or size with cells.

Very handy for looking at various columns of data a few at a time.

Thnak you Dave - of all the alternatives, this gives me the result I want
best. What I want to be able to do is enter production figures in a table,
and see if the maximum daily production is exceeded, when a range of
products are made. Your method allows the graph to be any size I want, and
to move anywhere in the data (in the window below) without changing the
table's position.

I'm sure this could also be done with VBA (to automate your method), so I'll
give that a go....
