I wish to make a page with sub pages, within our existing website, with a
password for only certain visitors/members or our organization. How do I do
that?...anyone know!?
Thank you
Debbie

Hi Debbie,
If you are using FP2003, make it a "Subsite" with a username and password.
Create a new folder, right click and select "Convert to web", move your
page(s) into this folder, name your 1st page "Index.htm". I assume you
already have links to the other pages?.
Publish your subsite and select "Tools/Servers/permissions " (only available
when editing on server) and enter the required username and password you
wish viewers to use.
You should now be able to limit the users accordingly.

Thank you for your help..but I am not getting it I guess. I thought I had it
going..but when I go to log into the page after published...it does not ask
for the password...so I guess I really do not have it.

So...do I open up my website first in FP, then go to File-New? Then do I use
New Page or New Web site to make the new page?

And then...one problem I had was if I changed the folder to Convert to
Web...I would not find the folder in my section that I can do the password
requests....
I am kinda lost...sorry.
Thanks again

You need to set unique permissions on the subweb
See http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;825451
Your host will have to support subwebs and unique permissions under the FP Server Extensions
