Making a sample database

Hi everyone.

I am trying to populate an existing sample database, which has four
empty related tables, with sample data. I assume that this kind of
thing is done all the time, but I cannot seem to find an easy way to do
it. I tried a program called DataFactory, but I got so many different
errors that I finally gave up.

Any thoughts? A good program would be best, of course, but a
not-too-difficult code solution would also be welcome.
