Making Changes in the Resource Pool

Randy

I'm running PS 2002 and a question has come up regarding making changes to resources in the pool. My question is this, if I change someones last name and/or Windows logon user name what affect will that have on any existing projects that person is assigned to? Is there some sort of database pointer assigned with that person that will automatically update everything that person is assigned to? What is recommended

Thanks!

I don't believe you should have any problems with the actions you wish to
take. Project Server will automatically update this information in each
project for you. Hope this helps.

Dale,

I am using Project Server 2003 and recently changed a resource's name in
the Enterprise Resource Pool. Now the reports and views in PWA show both
the old version and the new version of the name

When I examined the contents of the MSP_RESOURCES table, the name was
correct for a set of the proj_id's, but not all of them

Is this a bug in Project Server? Shouldn't all of them have been updated?
Should I just update the rest in the database directly
