HI! I am wondering if I have to create a diskbases web first and then
publish to create a new website . is this possible? is this the correct
procedure?
HI! my FrontPage server extensions are 6.0.2.5516
I see my other sites that I have previously made before the upgrade in
FrontPage that are marked by a globe icon but when I try to create a new
one
now it starts and says "creating website" but ends quickly with no error
message and back to the options box where a started. ( like its doing
nothing.) in the "specify location for website" box I put
"
http://my_computer_name/new website name " ( I use
http://my_computername/myothersites to access them).
Is there something that I am doing wrong here.? is there something else
that
I should check?
My actual are configured to be my inetpub folder under wwwroot. and that's
where I checked for the server extensions.
Open your live site directly in FP, then Tools | Site Settings.

HI! how can I check which server extension is presently install?
I went to my serving control manager and check my iis station's
properties
but I don't see anything there telling me what version.
But the question was what version of the FrontPage Server Extensions
are
you running on your hosted server
