Making public folders available offline

I am trying to make a public folder available offline but
have been unsuccessful. The only thing that I have come
close with is makeing Favorite shortcut to the folder
available offline which did not work.

I am using Outlook 2002 and the Exchange server is
version 2K

What you did should work... did you set up sync settings? See tools,
send/receive groups.
