Making Yacht Club calendars available on line

C

Colin Sinclair

The Royal Southern Yacht Club in Hamble UK would like to make its various
racing, cruising, motorboat, and youth calendars available as a "one click"
download from the club website to a high proportion of club members who use
Outlook. I am sure that this can be done, but as a pretty basic Outlook
user, would value advice from someone here who has hands on experience in
this field. With previous involvement in this Newsgroup, I blithely said I'd
ask!

Presumably we should save the dates and descriptions as a linked file on the
website, but what type of file makes the import into Outlook easiest? Can it
be made simpler than downloading a file and then doing a manual import?

Thanks in advance.

Apologies if you notice that I first posted to outlook.contacts. I hadn't
checked to see that there was a specific calendaring newsgroup. A while
since I've been here, which I suppose at least means Outlook generally works
well for me!
