managing e-mail addresses that computer is collecting

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Email Client: Exchange when creating a new e-mail as i start to type a name, many choices start appearing.
Many of these are NOT from my contacts or address book, but previous sends to me
How and where can i edit these out?

Yes, but it is a little convoluted...

add the erroneous address to your address bokk (easiest way is to make
a new messge, add the address as a recipient using the MRU, right-click
on the address and select 'add to address book')

Then, mark the contact in the address book as 'Junk'

then, delete it.

it will now be deleted from the MRU.
