Managing multiple jobs in a fabrication shop

any tips or tricks, i have read that this may not be the best software for managing multiple (i.e.20+) projects for a fabrication/ welding shop but that comment was in a forum many years ago, has there been improvements. very new to MP but it is already showing improvements in how jobs move thru the shop, just looking for feedback from similar users. thanks.
