Manged Time Periods

We just converted to MSP 2003 and have chosen managed time
periods. As our people are logging in, they get a message
stating that they will lose actuals. Is there a method
for saving the actuals from a 2002 plan as we change our
tracking method?

To my knowledge the only way to do that is what we had to
do when we restored a proj plan from a backup with MSP2003.

You need to "unprotect" the actuals, then do an import
project, then "republish assignments" making sure
to "overwite" the actuals. This shoudl push your actual
data to the database. When that is done, reprotect your
actuals.
