manual iterative calculation

I've been working on a spreadsheet with iterative calculations that I
initiate manually, and often have to hold the F9 key until it converges,
unfortunately on one sheet it no longer updates unless the F9 key releases
(ie only 1 iteration per press of F9) This makes it really hard to
calculate, any ideas on why it would behave this way?

Have you tried playing with the iteration settings under options > calculation?
That sheet might be set up different to the rest or does it have some VBA
code behind it which would make a difference?
