Manually install ActiveX - Pjadoinfo3 Class

Thanks Rolly, but it looks like your link was just like the original
link I had but had a different installation process.

I did look at Method 3 and completely installed it using all of the
steps...

1. Removed any controls already downloaded (made sure that I got the
license agreement when accessing pwa)
2. Followed all steps to manually register activeX controls,
downloading the 2 .cab files from Project Server 2003 server and
registered them via cmd prompt using regsvr32.

Still no luck!!!

I went back to pwa and still got the user agreement. I accepted all
downloads, checked my objects the Downloaded Internet Files folder
(through internet options/settings) and saw that the pjadoinfo3 object
was downloaded...

Which is the exact same problem as I was having before, only installing
a different way...

I've searched like crazy to try and find this infamous pjadoinfo3
object with no results... (

Is there a saint soul out there who has manually installed pjadoinfo3
object?!?!?!

Still searching,
Pauline

Hi Pauline,

Can you tell us specifically why you need to manually install the
ActiveX components?

Is there a problem or are you receiving a specific error?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated

Many thanks!

Rolly,

After continually trying, the link you sent me worked. I think it has
somethign to do with the order in which i downloaded the cab files.

Just so you know, I needed to install the components manually b/c the
users that are accessing pwa do not have admin rights on their
desktop... so it had to be pushed throught the back end.

Thanks for you help Rolly!
