Many Windows open up

Hi Forum, the visio file I am working on has about 12 pages. The problem is
whenever I open the file, it opens up about 2000 windows..the file name is v
1.1 and it goes on till v 1.1:2155 and while exiting it goes to v 1.1:4889
and then ends the session.

any clues??

Virus? Try to disable macro by menu, options, security.

Go to Window, Cascade which will show all open windows.

Basically, someone who possibly did not (or maybe did if malice was
intended) has opened multiple copies of new windows in this drawing. I dont
know of any Close All Windows command so you may have to close all the extra
ones down manually. Hence the possibility of a malicious person setting this
up.

Thanks! it copied all the tabs to a new visio...and it is working fine now
